It was offered as: 3-door hatchback, 5-door hatchback, 5-door estate/wagon and a 2 door cabriolet. Information provided by: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Golf_Mk6 Wiring Information If installing it to a vehicle with a factory amplifier under the passenger seat it is best to check the brand first before purchasing a control harness. This is done by removing the 2 x 10mm bolts and sliding the amp forward. If it is a Panasonic branded amplifier the CHVW7C (or install kit) will be sufficient to switch the amp on. If it is a Blaupunkt amplifier it will require the CAVW01 to be able to access the amps volume controls.
